What's New in Taskly 1.3: Taskly+
Taskly 1.3 is now on the App Store, and it is our biggest update yet. Taskly can now track your credit card benefits, with a new subscription called Taskly+ doing the heavy lifting. Here is what it does, what is free, and what it costs.
Your cards may owe you money
Cards with an annual fee come with credits: a dining credit each month, a travel credit each year, rideshare money, streaming money. Each one resets on its own schedule, and the ones you forget expire, which is money you already paid for.
In Taskly 1.3, you pick the cards you carry and Taskly shows the credits that come with them. This part is free with any card you track: every credit on the card, what each is worth, the yearly total, and what expires in the current window.
One rule from day one: Taskly tracks benefits, not card data. You tell Taskly which card products you carry, and that is all it ever knows: no card numbers, no bank logins, no transactions.
What Taskly+ does
Taskly+ turns that list into money you actually claim:
- Reminders before credits expire. A deadline you hear about in time is a credit you can still use.
- One-tap tracking. Used the credit? Mark it, done.
- Savings totals and history. Watch what you claim add up, and see when a card has earned back its fee.
- Subscription credits can track themselves. Credits that cover a recurring bill can be marked used on their own schedule.
- More than one copy of a card. Households with two of the same card can track both.
Taskly+ is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the U.S., with 14 days free. It renews on its own until you cancel, which takes about four taps in your App Store subscription settings. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
Why the rest of Taskly stays free
Tasks are what Taskly is. Assigning tasks, photo proof, recurring schedules, maintenance timers: all free to download and use, and we have no plans to charge for what is free today.
We also show no ads, ever. Most card-benefit information online is wrapped in ads, because ads are how those sites get paid. We charge for the tracker instead, so our only job is keeping the information right. Every card in Taskly shows its official issuer source and when we last checked it. Benefits are set by the issuers and can change at any time, so treat Taskly as a tracking tool, not financial advice.
And if you would rather not subscribe at all, the do-it-yourself way still works: our guide to tracking card benefits with free recurring tasks stays live and true.
Also in 1.3
- A new Home tab shows your urgent tasks and expiring credits together, one glance for both.
- Pick your app icon from five styles.
- Account deletion now shows its progress step by step.
