Use it alone for your own task list and maintenance countdowns, or connect with family, roommates, or friends to assign tasks to each other. Optional photo proof, push notifications, and recurring schedules work whether you are flying solo or coordinating a household.

Taskly adds things the built-in apps do not have: home maintenance tracking with countdown timers, optional photo proof of task completion, and the ability to assign tasks to other people with push notifications when they are done. It works for one person or for a whole household.
Taskly is free to download and use. We may add optional new features in the future, but everything that's free today will stay free.
Taskly works on iPhone and iPad. Other platforms may come later.
Taskly uses Sign in with Apple. You don't need to create a separate account or remember another password. Just tap "Sign in with Apple" and you're in.
It's the most private and secure way to sign in. Apple doesn't share your email with us unless you choose to, and there are no extra passwords to manage.
Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. We don't run our own servers that hold your tasks. Everything lives in your Apple account, protected by Apple's security.
You see tasks that are assigned to you or that you assigned to someone else. When a connected user completes a task you assigned, you get a notification and it appears in your activity feed.
Send them a connection request from inside the app. Once they accept, you can assign tasks to each other. They don't have to live with you. Anyone with Taskly can be a connection.
Tasks that repeat automatically: daily, weekly, or monthly. Set it up once and Taskly creates the next one for you when the current one is done.
Only if the person who created the task chose to require one. It's an optional setting that's useful for things like "take out the trash" or "feed the dog" where a photo confirms it actually happened. If a task doesn't require a photo, you can mark it complete normally.
Yes, you get a push notification when someone assigns you a task, and the assigner gets one when you complete it. You can manage notifications in your iPhone or iPad's Settings app.
